During The Night I Miss You

I miss your strong arms around me

holding me when I'm sad

The tender way you caressed my cheek

I'm thankful for the time we've had

But I still miss your lips on mine

the kisses on my neck

that sent shivers down my spine

I'm thankful for the love we've shared

But I still miss lying in your arms

on a lazy afternoon

talking, laughing, making love

and nights when we walked

by the light of the moon

Though you're still with me

it's all different now

and nothing either if us can do will change it

I'd make you well, if only I knew how

I'm thankful you're still here with me

but I miss the way it used to be
