Life Love Hope And Peace

life is like a handful of sand,
as it blows away in the wind,
across the time and land,
taken away in a whirlwind.

love is like the ocean,
ever so vast and great,
glazed over ever so often,
waiting for a storm to create.

hope is like a treasure chest,
you search and search and nearly give up,
dreamless nights of unrest,
and search again at sunup.

peace like a wave that washes over you,
claiming your restless mind,
setting things anew,
opening the gate where you were confined.

life love hope and peace,
what is the greatest of these?

Life is short and sweet,
but then no heart beat.

hope is a want or a wish,
but many times you watch it vanish.

peace is but for a few moments,
and it never lasts long gone is the silence.

more and more love is adding,
God loves us to the end of time,
and beyond each persons lifetime.
