You Love Poems
During The Night I Miss You
I lay here in the silence of this room,
wishing and longing for you by my side
the feel of your back pressed against mine
as my arms wrap around you
and hands clasped underneath your breasts.
Listening to the sound of your light breathing
as we lay within the shadows of this room.

Or maybe my arms around you,
your head resting on my chest
as you listen to my heartbeat
calling out to you so sweetly.
My heart like a bell being rung
each ring calling out your name so tenderly.
Elizabeth...Elizabeth.....Elizabeth.....
My fingers running through your long amber hair,
as I whisper such words of love so true and pure
or not even say a word
for there are no words that can truly explain
how wonderful a moment like this truly is.

Oh yes....just to feel you in my arms
your body pressed against mine
as I kiss your forehead so gently
making you feel the stubble on my chin
that makes you giggle from its tickle.
Then you look up at me
those green eyes sparkling so lovingly
as those delicate lips of yours smiles softly
and you speak the words that I always long to
hear
that sends such joy to my soul
that lasts for a lifetime.
