Wedding On The Beach
Barefoot on the beach they stand,
Two lovers holding hands,
Looking intently into each others eyes,
Sharing their vows beneath the blue sky.
Each of them speaking words straight from the heart,
Making the promise, until death not to part.
A bond of love is being formed this day,
As two bodies become as one,
On the edge of this seemingly endless sea,
Beneath the rays of a midday Sun.

God and family are the only witnesses here,
Beholding this beautiful sight,
As two souls join together in love,
And two hearts begin to unite.
They place their wedding bands,
Upon each others hands.
A beautiful sight to be seen,
Their love forever represented here,
By these two encircling rings.
A reminder of the true circle of love,
Man, his wife and God above.
Heavenly Father, let them never forget this most
holy bond,
And remind them through trials to seek your love
from beyond.

And now as they begin to move forward from here,
Lord, I pray that you will bless all of their plans,
As they leave behind this cherished moment in time,
And their two sets of footprints in the sand.
