I once had you to myself,
To call you my very own.
And since the day you went away,
My how my love has grown.

I love seeing your face,
And when you talk to me,
You could see it in my face,
How you fill me with glee.

Then one day the talking stopped,
The glances turned another way,
From my heart you took your love,
it was someone else's the next day.

I thought the love we had was strong,
Now all I do is cry,
Why did you go away?
Why did you let our love die.

I remember the words we said,
I love you I'll never let you go,
Where did those words run off to?
Please let me know.

I remember from the day you left,
I cried more and more every night,
Since the day you said 'its over'
My life just didnt feel right.

Without you here I dont want to live,
Your the other half of me,
Without you here I am nothing,
And I get more and more incomplete.

The pain of love I lived through you,
But I'd go and do it all again,
If it means at least for just one day,
Again you'll be my boyfriend.
