I Miss You So Much

As I was passing by our room,

I finally opened the door.

I prayed to God, please give me strength,

Since your not here no more.

I thought we would grow old together,

Take long walks along the beach.

But God had better plans for you,

And now your out of reach.

I'm sitting here on our bed,

As the tears start to flow.

I hug your picture in the frame,

Why did you have to go?

I need to mend my broken heart,

I need to let God enter in.

I am sure he wants to help me,

My new life is about to begin.

A life without you here with me,

A life so lonely and blue.

But I get my strength from God above,

But, I'm still sure missing you.
